Welcome to Nogginsland! We are super thankful that you’ve stumbled upon our page for two reasons. Reason number one? We love meeting parents just like you! Why? Because just like you, we’re parents ourselves. Children are our number one priority and helping them learn, develop, and blossom is one of our many passions! That’s where Youtube Kids Videos come in! While many people look at the YouTube platform as a time killer, we don’t see it as that at all. We see it as a way for your child to have fun while at the same time learning and developing many beneficial tools. So, with all that being said, let’s look at our two favorite reasons your child can benefit from YouTube!
Reason #1 – YouTube Kids Videos Develop Social Skills
The number one reason that we believe you should be allowing your children to spend some time on YouTube is that with the right videos – they’ll develop certain social skills that they may not otherwise be able to get a grasp on. Seeing how other people (more importantly children) interact with one another is vital to developing social skills especially if they haven’t started school yet. YouTube Kids videos are a fantastic way for them to not only have fun but to see how other children interact with one another as well as with adults in the real world. But don’t get us wrong, there is a lot of content on YouTube that is a complete waste of time and can do just the opposite. That’s why it’s important to choose the correct content and always monitor what they are watching.
No worries here though – all the content on our Nogginsland YouTube Channel is kid friendly and geared towards benefiting your child whether it’s socially or intellectually! With that being said, let’s move on to our second favorite reason that it’s ok for your child to take some time out of their day to enjoy a few YouTube Kids videos.
Reason #2 – YouTube Kids Videos Help with Memory Retention
So, like most people, you’re probably wondering “What the heck is memory retention?” Basically, what we are saying is that giving your child the freedom to make learning fun, they’ll be more likely to retain the information that they are given. Stick them in front of something bland/boring and you’ll often find that they don’t remember much of it, if anything at all. That’s why it’s important to make learning fun for your children especially in their preteen years which is exactly who most YouTube Kids Videos tend to target.
To recap, the two biggest reasons that these kids videos have a place in your home (in our opinion) is that they will help your child develop social skills as well as stick with them for a long time to come. Even if you decide not to subscribe to our YouTube channel, we hope that you’ll consider finding a channel that resonates with you as well as your children because at the end of the day – we only want to see your child learn, develop, and grow – even if it’s not with us! Thanks for stopping by Nogginsland and please head on over to our channel and subscribe!
